pictured products of the purge:
- expired sunscreen
- method hand soap (that stained my countertops, so it got the boot!)
- a sponge holder (it kept falling in the sink)
- some gradual self tanner stuff (i've embraced my paleness.. and faux tanning is too troublesome)
- a few face scrubs/masks
- a few Bath and Body works "splashes" that I really never spritzed. I kept my mango-mandarin and coconut-lime verbena in case the Man decides I'm too stinky
- some aromatherapy linen spray that I used maybe once
I predicted this would be a low key cleanout week, since I did a HUGE purge in the office. Still, hopefully I can find some time this weekend to tackle some of my closet clutter. I can't wait to see how everyone else has been doing over at the linky party:
Check out everyone's progress at Words on Wendhurst!

Mmmm, maybe that's the stuff I should go through next week--bathroom and make up products (probably expired!).
By the way, I'm totally with you on embracing the paleness. I never get beyond a snowy white color (with freckles =), so I've just given up on the whole tanning thing.
Well done. :-) I am forever getting rid of expired sunscreen. I don't tan very well, so I generally avoid the sun, and therefore my sunscreen goes unused. :-)
i also did this this weekend, i purged stuff i never use in loo of bathroom stuff, plus its just gross that stuff does actually expire, so i vote the lipsticks that are 5 yrs old, go!!!
Good idea to tackle the bathroom. I really should try this next week.
I was glad I did, but more than anything-- I was suprised by the space in my bathroom cabinets when I was finished. I wish I could think of what to use that spare space for, but I'm not sure what else I could store down there. Any ideas?
Rachel-- you would probably punch me, but I found some eye makeup in a travel bag that is from freshman year. I have eyeliner old enough to watch the tween shows on the disney channel! At least I never use the stuff.. that redeems me, right?
